I’m a producer of CP+B and I was working for this spot with Yutaka. Honestly he sucks. First of all, this isn’t even his idea. The First Act, the guitar company, came up with the idea of giving away a guitar that can be plugged into a car stereo. Yeah, it's genious, right? And that’s the idea of this whole campaign. It doesn't matter if we cast Slash or a I-may-look-like-a-homeless- but-I’m-actually-a-street-musician type of jerk in LA. In that meaning, I have to say Yutaka did little for this ad. I strongly believe he shouldn’t have put this on his book, but of course he did because he sucks.
